Paphos Life

Driving around Paphos area I am sometimes loosing signal e.g. RockFM, BfBS, Dejay which
is quite annoying. What is your opinion? Which station do you like the most?

List of Cypriot stations, some of them I like listening online e.g. Dance FM from the North which
has only advertising every 20 minutes... May be Dominic like the idea to keep the link somewhere.

Sunshine radio. Not too many adverts.

Sunshine Radio definitely! Minimum amount of chatter from DJ during the morning show. Also I like their news and weather reports, again usually only in the weekday mornings. But I wish that they were able to do them every day.
The main disadvantage is that their signal fades very quickly once you leave Paphos area.
I tend to find the presenters on Rock FM chatter is irritating as much of it seems mindless.

Kiss FM is a good station. Sunshine is ok but cannot abide the adverts. Yes, I know they are needed but I switch over when they come on if I'm in the car.

I listed to Mix fm 102.3. Cypriot station with all English music and few adverts. Apart from breakfast show, there is non stop music all day.

Sunshine and Mix Fm for us.

Can't see the point in Sunshine these days, its basically a playlist which I can do with my iPhone. Prefer the variety of Rock FM.

They are all terrible I'm not sure where they get the music from and the adverts drive you to distraction.
Better off playing your own music while in the car. And listening to internet radio at home loads to choose from. Lots of choice.

Sunshine does play some new stuff, provided it is middle of the road. Considering they are all free I don't think it's really fair to call any of them rubbish.

already in Konia area, also when driving in Yeroskipou towards Timi as the same with Radio Deejay, BFBS, e.g.

Sunshine Radio every time for me

BFBS is OK except the presenter is Charlene Guy with her premature chatter,
drives me nuts.

Do they still have that advert (think it was on Rock FM) that starts off with the phrase "do you need your bush trimming?"

We used to live stream the radio via internet in our office when I was working in Limassol - me and my mate Sam used to crack up at it every time

We always listened to BFBS (the UK station rather than the Cypriot one) until one of our IT guys in their infinite wisdom decided to block it But, I always listened to the Cyprus BFBS on my car journeys to and from the office.

I may not have a BFBS "round thing" but I do have one of these......
I was ironing some stuff for our forthcoming trip to Malta this afternoon and thought of you when I got this one out!
