Apparently they are following the lead of the NUS, who started this nonsense in 2015, because it is more inclusive to deaf people and people who don't like loud noises.
What happens to these people when they enter the real world?
And what do blind people think of it?

Mustn't offend, must be politically correct, walk on egg shells, welcome to our stupid world, just hope that the whole thing turns full circle, and we can actually get back to being normal someday.
What a waste of money, universities should be educating young people, instead of making them paranoid.
