Cross platform quiz

My original idea was met with well shall we say a warm reception, Even worse no response. What do you quizzers think. To me it means we have an opportunity to interact with other Cyprus forums what do you think & what does it need

1 Admin to buy into the idea because it it would need their support
2 Members to take part
Its not going to be an easy task but first we need a team, a quiz master & an unbiased person to keep score

Anyone still with me

This all sounds familiar....

Happy to help out as before if it gets off the ground.

I hesitate to make a comment, and yet comments are what you have asked for...

Firstly I am not sure why this is in the Music section and not the 'Puzzles and Quizzes' where more people may see it.
But that aside, I really cannot see and inter forum quiz being a success. Last time it was not open to all but just 'team members' .
Also how do you choose which other forum to invite to take part.... Do you invite another Paphos one or go wider afield

To me quizzes should be for everyone to take part in, if they feel so inclined.. But for me... Just this forum.

Just my opinion.. Trev..

My main question is, what would be the point of it? If people want to interact with other forums, they can just post on them.

I could understand if it was a forum in a different country, but in Cyprus, the more active forum members seem to be members of more than one forum anyway, so I can't see the point. It would be like Paphos becoming a twin town with Limassol.

However, if sufficient people are keen enough to do it, I wouldn't try have a problem with it. Are you talking of an online quiz or an actual event?

Having been personally involved in organising and running a pub quiz for five years, I would have to say that, from the administrative point of view, the gain is not worth the pain.
