Took my daughter today to move to Sheffield Uni and she was a few bits short so I went for a mooch. Found this massive in door market that reminded me as a kid of old Manchester good old honest traders at great prices and was not sterile like the new shops. It had and Indian women knocking clothes up on an old sewing machine and the old type butchers and fish mongers. People was sat down chatting drinking brews eating. They had really good old fashioned food stalls as well selling traditional Yorkshire grub. Amazed me to see such an old fashioned in door market and while I was at the place had a warm bag of pork scratchings with pepper on. Bloody belting :D This thread should of been in beyond Cyprus but thought it might prompt a good old chat. :D :D

Sounds just like Bury market. Sprawling place, very busy with loads of old fashioned stalls selling all sorts of stuff. Great for cheese, black pudding (yuk!), pies. Got a cheap Cypriot cafe in it too, serving great food.
