A bit late notice and not exactly around the corner, but maybe of interest to some...
----
Dear Friends,
You are invited to a talk entitled “Butterflies of Cyprus” to be given by Ros Sparrow, on Friday 21 September at 7.00pm.
Below please find a short resume about the talk and Ros Sparrow.
"Butterflies delight us all with their beautiful colours and delicate flight, but how much do we know about them? This fully illustrated talk will give some insights into butterfly senses, their lifecycle and behaviour, and with close-up photos reveal a broad selection of the species found on Cyprus”.
Rosalyn (Ros) and her husband David have been studying and photographing the fauna of Cyprus since the early 2000s, focusing especially on butterflies, dragonflies, reptiles and amphibians. Together they produced a major reference book "The Wildlife of Cyprus" with chapters contributed by 40 authors. Before moving to the island, Ros worked for 20 years as a British Diplomat, with several overseas postings mainly in Asia."
With Best Regards,
