Electrical Contact Cleaner ...

I have recently had problems with my Apple mouse and my Harmon Karon Soundsticks. I thought I would have to replace both. The mouse only worked intermittently, despite the USB ports working normally with other kit. My lovely Harmon Kardon Soundsticks (all of sixteen years old) kept dropping bass from the sub-woofer. The solution was to be a new Apple mouse and a new soundbar, both of which were going to cost money.

A friend suggested Electrical Contact Cleaner and I spent a whole €6.50 on a can. A quick spurt, and a pause of twenty minutes to allow it to “dry” and “Bingo”. The mouse now works perfectly and my sound system is blasting out proper sound as I type. Brilliant.

It may be a good idea to say where you got the cleaner from :-)

I bought it from Glykis hardware shop in Prodromi, near Polis, and it was manufactured by Morris.

I wonder why WD40 sell a specific Electrical Contact Cleaner if therecstandard stuff suffices?
