Hi,

We're staying in Latchi in a couple of weeks and would prefer to buy some local honey rather than one from Paps or a supermarket. Can anyone recommend a shop or kiosk in either Latchi or Polis who sell local honey please?

Thanks

Lincoln,
I buy honey from the little shop in Chloraka, and very good it is. But if they supply supermarkets it will only a a small amount I think. It’s a husband and wife business. Incidentally, their shop is only open in the mornings.

I used to buy large jars of honey from the Sunset Taverna in Agios Georgos (sadly, now closed) to bring back to UK. Wifey loved it.

It was from Tremithousa and is probably available from the kiosks along the road from Coral Bay out to AG, as well as in Tremi of course. Jacs?

Another vote here for Stavros’ honey in Chlorakas - directions as given above! Very good ointments too...!

They might sell local honey at the once a month Steni's farmers market.
