I saw her put down her accordion and she left it on the ground then went into Lidls, if it had been in Liverpool it would have dissapeared in a flash

There were the men selling windscreen wipers in Lidl car park again this morning but as I was with my husband this time they didn't bother us to much.
They approached us but saying a firm NO THANK YOU they went.
Still not nice to keep having them around though.

Happy in Cyprus wrote: Fri Aug 31, 2018 12:06 pm Funny this topic has come up, but outside Lidl this morning was the usual woman who plays the same old notes, over and over again, on the most scruffy-looking accordion you have ever seen. If she played a nice tune from start to finish that would be something, but this is the same 'orrible few out of tune notes over and over. Normally I am generous in giving to genuine, talented street musicians, but these people don't deserve a cent.
It's just the same few notes. Over and over and over.

Once there was a bloke there, playing it. He could actually knock out a tune. But in her case, it is as if she was given one line of a sheet of music and told to get on with it.

Sounds like she cannot play to this standard but must assume some people feel sorry for her & part with their money. Why else would she come back?
