The sixth campaign of the year against drink driving will be launched by the police on Monday, lasting until Sunday, August 19.A police statement said that in the EU around 25 per cent of traffic deaths are caused by driving under the influence of alcohol....

Well they are set up stopping cars on the road between Kissonerga and Chlorakas tonight, i was waved through but it would not have mattered as alcohol free tonight as always when driving.

In a word.. No. I have never heard of cars being crushed here in Cyprus..

Probably because it would take 10 years or more for it to get through the Cyprus legal system!
