After many years of efforts and numerous specialized studies, Cyprus Limni Resorts and GolfCourses Plc announces that it has secured the planning permission of the Limni Bay resort in Limni, Polis Chrysochous, after fully satisfying the national environmental legislation and all its recommendations European Commission, in order to fully guarantee the integrity of the turtles' habitats.

The basic design principles of the Project have taken into account, among others:
Restoring the natural environment and enhancing the beauty of the landscape.
Effective protection of the turtle nesting beach.
The use of new technologies to the greatest extent possible for the saving of water, energy and other valuable natural resources, as well as the use of local materials and elements of the traditional architecture of the place.
Maintaining and enhancing the natural endemic vegetation of the area.
It is noteworthy to note that the Company has already spent tens of millions of euros to rehabilitate the natural environment by moving 12 million cubic meters of mines and minerals, residues from the mining use of the previous owners.
Besides the positive impact on the economy and the social well-being of the inhabitants of the area, the implementation of the Project will also create various other enriching projects for culture and the environment, such as the historic Lake Museum,
the Environmental Information Center for turtles, nature trails, extensive plant cover with endemic plants, etc. The implementation of the project will create hundreds of new jobs at the same time and will result in new activities and services for local residents, especially for young people, with multiple benefits for the entire Polis Chrysochous region.
