I had to attend the General Hospital this morning, I have just got back, the very popular GP Dr Nikos Paneridies that many members use is soon to leave, he is going into the hospital administration, he will be missed by many of us, so like me, you will have to find another GP.

That's sad news
We've used Dr. Panayides for several years now.
Any recommendation for an alternative GP?

Presumably there will be a replacement for him, who will probably use the same surgery. Give his replacement a try, he or she will probably be just fine

Unless you contact the General and ask who his replacement will be then you are not going to know, Nikos certainly did not know who he or she will be as no decisions on his replacement has been made. Remeber Nikos is only a General practitioner, not a specialist.
It is sad news we have used him for about ten years he said.

Does it matter that you won't know ? Until you try the new GP (if there is a replacement) you will never know how good they are..
A new replacement Heart Consultant started around a year ago... She is absolutely Brilliant, like a breath of fresh air there.

Dr Olvia, the cardio consultant is also very good. Dr Maxim is the GP we go to. Always time for you and becoming very popular. He is actually a qualified Neuro surgeon but he says there are only two posts on the island. I prefer him to Dr Nicos .
