You will have to do without my ace banter and moderation skills for the time being. The workmen digging the road up outside our house, not content with bursting the main water pipe from Kaanivou, have now cut through the main internet cable for our area. You can probably see roughly when it happened on the main polemi webcam.

So, a couple of days ago we had €1600 worth of camera and phone equipment nicked out of my car, which is being now being serviced and out of action. I cannot access the internet either other than by this rather annoying but cheap new phone. I have contacted the appropriate authorities regarding theft and internet.

There is now officially nothing more that I can do. If anybody wants me, I will be relaxing by the pool.

Sorry to hear all this bad news. Even relaxing by the pool will probably be disturbed by the workmen's noise.
Was the theft from the car at home??

I feel your pain Dominic especially with the JCB going through cable the same happened to us no phone or internet plus intermittent signal on the mobile.......but I always think there are people younger than me that would love to be able to get out of bed but can’t And life isn’t too bad sitting by the pool with earplugs

Very sorry to hear about the theft out of your vehicle........crime is definitely on a rapid increase on the island.

Sorry about your loss,Dominic,can you tell us where abouts in the car was your camera and phone when it got stolen.
