General Blackout prevailed for a few minutes, from 10:35 to 10:45, in several areas of Paphos.

According to PafosPress, the cut-off of electricity has affected several communities in Paphos.

The stream eventually recovered after approximately ten minutes of interruption.



According to readers of our page some of the areas that did not have electricity are as follows:

Paphos, Tala, Yialou, Anarita, Kissonerga, Nata, Kato Paphos, Timis, Geroskipou, Simos

It’s a while since we’ve had this happen & unusual at that time of night. Our whole area was in darkness then all you could see were torch & car lights in the distance - quite pretty really.

Does anyone know the cause of the blackouts ?
