"Part" of the road through Chlorakas village is now open.
What has been done over the past 2/3 years, I really do not know.

We noticed a few days ago that the barriers had gone from the road at the Western end of the village

It is now a One Way System.
Is that going to make a difference? 'No Entry signs mean drive quickly along the road

That's not true. When the Polemi Ring Road* was implemented no entry signs were erected and in the most part these are adhered to.
I think there is one old guy who still insists on driving up it the wrong way, but most people seem to obey the new mandate.
* I may be the only person who calls it the Polemi Ring Road, if you were wondering why you were unfamiliar with it.

I have to agree with Mike, 2 years ago we had been at the crazy golf in Paphos there was a heavy downpour and we were all soaked so called for a taxi.It arrived very quickly and the way out is one way as it is dual carriage way, no the taxi driver waited a while and then turned right and drove around a 100 yards to get to the right side of the road.
To say I nearly sh.t myself was an understatement.
Cypriot drivers mostly have their own rules.

Polemi Ring road is perhaps a bit of a grand title! Must be all of 70 metres!

It seems longer than that because you have to go slow, in case anything is coming the other way
