It is very difficult to produce decent pics from a sunrise in July/Aug, unlike end of the year (but perhaps I need a better camera.....!)
This is 10 minutes before the sun comes up behind Troodos peak
Here we are
With high humidity you get this effect
but this is only some minutes as the sun is "eating" the clouds away
and then it is only sun sun sun and getting hot

Glad you liked them. As you perhaps understand more than others how difficult it is to photograph in this morning light in July. I am limited with my camera as it is only a bridge camera and I am still learning. My favourite pic was #2 with the reflexions...

Max- beautiful photos as always, thanks!
But I'm amazed that taking 'full-on' shots of the Solar disc like this doesn't fry rhe internals of your camera! Do you use a special solar filter on the lens when taking such shots?
Please tell me that you never look at the solar disc with the naked eye when carrying out these sunrise photo collections...

I knew it was something special when I had the chance to photograph such tiny ones, it never happened before. Since this day they disappeared, perhaps hiding what they should do when so young. But perhaps they are already dead with the amount of magpies and cats are around my place...

This morning I got it better, without reflexions... 30c and 20% RH (so no humidity) but a lot of wind
