Hi, looking for some advice please, has anyone got experience of having cupboard doors stripped & repainted, any recommendations? Just considering refurb of existing doors or new ones, cheapest option really for a private holiday home, no rentals, so minimal usage!

Any advice on options/recommendations much appreciated. Thank you.

Every monday it is business monday, where companies are allowed to make a post promoting their business. Over the last couple of weeks, somebody has posted that they do this sort of thing. The only contact method they offer is via facebook though.

If you have the time, you could paint them yourself. I did some of mine and they look good!

I agree with Darrow. I used Pelelec (Can't quite remember the name, something like that) water soluble satin brilliant white from SuperHome. I did the architraves in it some years ago and it hasn't faded anywhere near as badly as the sprayed cupboard doors.
I used really fine carbide paper and then a kitchen cleaner to clean them and two further clean downs with cloths damped with water, just to get all the dust off and get rid of any residue. You can buy spray finish rollers, I couldn't get on with them. I used high density foam rollers I got from Screwfix and after a bit of trial and error I got the best finish by getting a good coat of paint on quickly and then removing the roller marks by using light roller strokes in straight lines, one continuous stroke down the door. I had to rub down and do the first few again, but I managed to get virtually no roller marks and the ones I got aren't obvious. Loads of online DIY forms and YouTube videos about getting a good finish. It worked out at about €50 for the lot and I have loads of spare rollers.
