I have seen them for sale sometimes at the Russian fruit market on Polis Rd.
If I was at home I could have given you some nice fresh ones...

The first one to open was on the road known as Mr Chicken or Russian Rd.

Just to be a little bit pedantic, the fruit market is actually called the garden of EDEM. πŸπŸ’πŸ‹πŸ₯‘πŸ“πŸ₯¦πŸ₯’πŸŒΆ and they sell fresh vine leaves. :D

The original O kipos tis Edem (the Garden of Eden) is situated on Sotriaki Makridi Ave, commonly known as Russian rd, I suppose that it was nicknamed Russian Veg for ease of pronunciation

The original Garden of EDEM is situated at Agapinoros Street - people call it Russian road or Mr. Chicken road.

According to the Bible, the location of Eden is described in the Book of Genesis, chapter 2, verses 10–14:

And a river departed from Eden to water the garden, and from there it divided and became four tributaries.

The name of the first is Pishon, which is the circumnavigator of the land of Havilah where there is gold. And the gold of this land is good; there are bdellium and cornelian stone. And the name of the second river is Gihon, which is the circumnavigator of the land of Cush. And the name of the third is Chidekel, which is that which goes to the east of Ashur; and the fourth river is Phirat.

Judging from the above, I would guess that it is somewhere near Panagia.

To get back to reality, why not just take leaves from the nearest grapevine? Asking the owner first of course.

There is a Russian food shop on petrol station alley. When driving down towards downtown from Paps it is on the left after about 300m on a corner. Never went inside (but it’s on my shopping bucket list of things to do). I am sure I have seen others too - but I guess you were not really interested in it were you 8-) ?

Yep.. The road from Paps in town to Kennedy Square :-) Four petrol stations (I think) in just a few hundred yards.
The name I have always known it by is 'Gasoline Alley'

Sorry, I made a mistake with the name. Its Called something else. But it is the Garden of Edem on the Polis Rd. It has virtually everything regarding fruit and veg.
It is more expensive than Lidl, who are situated further up,the Polis road. Lidl now have an excellant selection of many fruits and veg. Generally their prices are lower and the quality is very good.
