Is it just me?

Why do the staff in the Kato Paphos Ocean Basket always look so miserable? Not a smile in sight from any of them (apart from the manager).

Perhaps they don't like your shirt?

Similar to our experience in Malta last year. That was our first and last visit. I like my food to be served on proper crockery and yes, the staff were miserable there. Perhaps it's a must have trait for the job?

Perhaps it is because they work at Ocean Basket!

That's a shame, I've not been for some years now, but I remember in the early days noting that the staff were friendly. But it will be different staff now

That is definitely a No No in my book feeding any animals at the table in a restaurant

I thought it was a rather sober affair.

It's beginning to sound like I am the only one who thinks the staff are miserable. Ho hum.

I've never been there, so couldn't comment on the staff I'm afraid.

Been their a few times whilst on holiday with a resident English lady & at that time her Cypriot partner (now her husband). Perhaps that makes a difference because he seemed to know everyone & we had a great experience but I understand it's off putting if the staff don't at least smile. Wages are probably not good but a previous boss once said to me. No matter whatever job you do make sure you try to be the best!
