Yellow heat warning for Tuesday

The meteorological service issued a yellow warning for Tuesday for extremely high temperature as it is expected to rise to 40 degrees Celsius inland.The warning concerns the period between noon and 5pm, it said....

I don't mind when it is hot daytime in July/Aug, but I am not feeling comfortable at night temperatures between 28c and 30c like the last two days with no humidity at all. When I went with my dog at 5 at dawn, a strong wind was blowing from the mountains with 29c so I decided to go back to bed and switched the air-con on, which I hate using it at night...but it is a normal weather phenomenon in the hilly hinterland of Paphos in summer.

Wow, we must have had ours on at least 20 days this year, if not a little more. Non on just at the moment though
