We have visitors coming over shortly and gluten free bread has been requested. Wondered if anyone knows of a bakery that can oblige in Peyia?

Zorba's do gluten free bread to order. It isn't the best in the world but may pass. If not, AlphaMega in Paphos have a decent range of gluten free products.

And take them to Pingouino's in Paphos if you want a gluten free restaurant. They have a special menu.

Can you come up with more helpful information than what Max and I provided?

I took the comment as just a reminder that the poster was looking for a bakery in Peyia if possible

If there was one in Peyia, I would have thought that local members would have spoke up by now..
So it seems like you will have to travel to Paphos

I have digestive problems with eating most village breads in Cyprus and had a food allergy test. I was advised to try a sour dough bread made by Zorba. It’s called ‘Prozemi ‘ and tastes very nice. It’s OK for me.

Just back from Paps in Polis and they have Gluten Free Bread on a stand at the Bakery, I would think that they get their bread from Paps Bakeries and there is one in Payia so perhaps an inquiry there might solve the problem

If Paps have started doing gluten free that's very good news.

Possibly....remember that they are two entirely separate companies

I will hazard a guess at this!

Papantoniou suermarkets & Papantonious bakeries may have the same
name, but I believe they are not connected, apart from having the same name.

I think that is true.. If you look on Google maps for Papantonios Bakeries, it shows you quite a few
in the area.
But it does not show those in the supermarkets that bake their own bread

I remember hearing , rightly or wrongly, that they are Brothers, Doesn't necessarily mean that they would trade with each other Families being what they are.
