At least England achieved much much more than lazy Germany. Interesting game until the last minute, as two different systems clashed. The one, England has been tremendous on set pieces, while Croatia played the style of the last years: possession play, which I personally prefer. Their goals were mainly not from free kicks or corners, instead playing until success. I wonder if they have the strength on Sunday, after so many games in extra time in the last few days when two similar systems join up. What was also interesting in this match: no diving....

Very pleased with how well England did. Yes it's a shame they didn't take the final but they did good!! Well done to all of them. My money is on France to lift the trophy but you never know, it's a funny old game as someone once remarked!

Can't help thinking the France/Belgium game was the final, but you never know, Croatia might prove me wrong.

Not shown on TV, when Croatia scored the second goal and were celebrating, England tried to kick-off and score....
