I know that he shouldn’t have tried to jump over the fence which was a stupid thing to do, but couldn’t the airport staff have helped him to get to the flight where the rest of his family were boarding? After all Pafos is quite a small airport not like Heathrow or Gatwick!
The artical said that he had left his family at departures before returning the hire car...
