Oleander Hawkmoth

Most of us have the colourful Oleander bushes in our gardens/grounds but these are extremely poisonous to most creatures! However, the Oleander Hawkmoth larva feasts on them & you can spot whether you have one (or lots) by looking around the ground below the bush in October/November ....... tell-tales signs are lots of small droppings! I photographed this one in November last year, unfortunately I haven't managed to get one of the adult moth yet which is quite a large & spectacular beast!

I'm sure the bats around me have most of them!
