You are outside a club. It is a bit of an eccentric club, with eccentric rules. One such rule is written on a big sign above the main entrance:

Rich me want me!
Fools know me!
Poor people have me!
Wise people are sure of me!
Brave men fear me!
And to enter you must own me!

In front of the entrance is a table with a plethora of objects on it. Just about everything you could imagine that could fit in a pocket or handbag is on that table. What do you pick up from the table before entering, paying close attention to the sign on the table which reads: "Max: one item per guest".

I would pick the plethora.

I don't know what it is ! but it sounds good.

I know what it is so do I have to make a selection?

As long as you select 'nothing', that's probably ok!

Actually the answer was "jodhpurs". I did say the club was eccentric.

I got the joke, but it appears as far as some are concerned you are not ready for stand up

PS I'm not sure jodhpurs would fit into a pocket or handbag
