Aimed at the financially acute among us?

Given what Dominic posted as an info/locked post (viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6096) does it therefore seem that if you have a central government pension plus a local government and state retirement pension you will still be taxed in the UK on all of these and not be able to take advantage of the lower rates over in Cyprus?
Or am I missing something?

Thank you

Thank you Hudswell.
May I just clarify please?
My Civil Service Pension would be subject to UK taxation as would my Local Government one.
But not my State Retirement one...which could be taxed in Cyprus?

Many thanks.

Hudswell is right, with a double taxation agreement you only pay tax on your income once! How the mechanics work out in the future is another question and I guess some of us will find out sooner than others?
