Just wondering, as we can no longer access the now-demised CL board? Does anyone have a link or an update about this sad state of affairs that Connor suffered all these years, thanks to the so-called Justice system in Cy?

Last info I can find is here on Nigel Howarth's site (Cyprus Property Buyers) but that was from 2012:

But Conor is still around and posting - the more recent article regarding the British property owner who recently committed suicide over the Swiss franc mortgage selling scandal shows comments below from Conor that he is still there.

What thread was the Connor story on in CL? There are internet archives etc and it could be possible to find it.

Think it could be difficult Dominic, there were several threads over quite a period of time relating his dealings with a nefarious developer, his lawyer and his henchmen, and I mean that seriously. Conor was hospitalised by them as well as losing a shedload of dosh.

Unless I'm thinking of the wrong forum, think there may be a good friend of his posting here who could possibly update us.

I just hope it all works out just fine for him in the end as, by all accounts - he really did get the shitty end of the wedge and you can hardly blame him for shouting it loud and clear from the rooftops.

Unsuspecting property buyers in Cyprus certainly do need to be made aware of the pitfalls..... never mind this talk of being the same as "UK law"
