Sealed away for 30 years , what do you think ?
Was the eu the reason waspi ladies lost their pension ?
We won the war , now Germany wanted to rule us , till we voted OUT .
A SECRET document prepared for pro-Europe Tory Prime Minster Edward Heath shows how the Foreign Office knew EU membership would dismantle Britain as a sovereign nation.
This article from a few months ago .

That article is complete rubbish. Did you actually read it properly?
Take this:
Paragraph 12(I) is one of the most damning – as it clearly details the way in which EU law will trample over British law. But that this must be kept from the common knowledge of the British people.
And this is the offending paragraph, which basically says that if there is a clash, EU laws trump sovereign laws.
__
He writes: “By accepting the Community Treaties we shall have to adapt the whole range of subsidiary law which has been made by the Communities. Not only this but we shall be making provision in advance for the unquestioned direct application (i.e. without any further participation by Parliament) of Community laws not yet made (even though Ministers would have a part, through membership of the Council, in the making of some of these laws). Community law operates only in the fields covered by the Treaties, viz, customs duties; agriculture; free movement of labour; services and capital; transport; monopolies and restrictive practices; state aid for industry; and the regulation of the coal and steel and nuclear energy industries. Outside this considerable range there would remain unchanged by far the greater part of our domestic law.
“Community law is required to take precedence over domestic law: i.e. if a Community law conflicts with a statute, it is the statute which has to give way. This is something not implied in other commitments which we have entered into in the past. Previous treaties have imposed on us obligations which have required us to legislate in order to fulfil the international obligations set out in the treaty, but any discrepancy between our legislation and the treaty obligations has been solely a question of a possible breach of those international obligations the conflicting statute has still undoubtedly been the law to be applied in this country. But the community system requires that such Community Law as applies directly as law in this country should by virtue of its own legal force as law in this country prevail over conflicting national legislation.”

Where does he say that we shouldn't tell this to the voters? And of course EU law would trump sovereign law. Otherwise, there is no point in having EU law.
And don't forget, when Britain leaves the EU, we will still have to abide by all the EU laws relating to trade, if we want to trade with the EU. We just won't have a say in what those laws are. Nice.

Well I'm off to the EU at 4.30am tomorrow morning for what may be my last annual baccy raid on Adinkerke, Belgium.
If all goes well, daughter and I will back home in Luton at around 4:30pm, aided and assisted by my new Garmin nuvicam 6" Satnav, with built-in dashcam. With the sunken GBP £Sterling, a 50g pouch of baccy there will probably cost around £7 (cheaper than paying in € strangely)
But when it's £20 in Tesco, and your'e buying 12 month's personal supply, it's a no brainer- despite the diesel and ferry costs... I even tank up in the same village (in £sterling) for far less per litre than up at Tesco here.
When this luxury is withdrawn, on account of brexit, I guess I'll have to switch to e-ciggies, LOL!

This whole idea of ‘sovereignty’ is bunkum.... anyone who voted for brexit on that basis was fooled by propoganda. We ALWAYS had opportunities to water down or change laws. We chose to endorse more than even Germany or France.... our choice. Health and Safety a prime example.

You could always give up smoking Al. You'll save even more then. And yes you can do it. I imagine that most of us have, at some point.

I think that anyone who voted IN was fooled by fear tactics, some even are still.

That's just ridiculous. I voted in because I think we are better off in the EU, and I like the idea of a bigger group of countries helping each other.

It’s alright saying a bigger group of countries helping each other , but I think they are heading towards a super state , the United States of Europe ? No wonder the queen has not stepped down for Charles , the way it was going there was no longer longer going to be an England for him to be king of .

What fear tactics did we get fooled by? Perhaps everything that's coming to pass?
What about the Brexit voters, fooled by Farage's images of lines of 'black' faces
£350m a week for the NHS
"Sovereignty" - Rule Britannia and all that....
Laws and more laws....
No Stay voter was in love with the EU, but probaly saw more good than bad...

No-one knows what will happen when we leave the EU, it's all conjecture, but the PM of the days predicted doom and gloom, he managed to persuade the then President of the USA to do the same, the Canadian head of The Bank Of England followed suit. We are not living in poverty in the UK, we will not be living in poverty when we leave the EU.
When we are no longer paying billions to the EU, we shall see where the money is spent, hopefully. Laws and more laws ? the EU keeps churning them out. Rule Britannia, funnily enough it's my ring tone, speaks volumes, and I make no apology for that.
