Unfortunately only Dominic had a proper rain yesterday, today I thought we will get some downpour... as the clouds were banking up very near to my place...
but there was no thunder, so I was wondering if we get something here, certainly Kannaviou dam
it would really good to get some of the wet stuff, these flowers would like it
these two perhaps have a different idea....

It wasn't just me. Loads of places got rain. There was more today in places too. Seems mainly to be in the northern parts and Troodos way though.

Lovely pix again Max. I love the use of that cloud as a backdrop to the photos.

We went into Polemi for a meal last night and when we got less than 50mts from the house we could see from the puddles that it had rained a lot.
We have heard thunder today but Still no rain

The big cloud formation went smaller and smaller and disappeared in the end without any raindrops again. But there suppose to be another chance today. Let's hope and see...

Again no rain in Tremithousa looking up to the Polemi hills we could hear thunder, but not a spot down here. No rain in months, I think we may just need some.

You are like us Jim. No rain but can see the dark clouds over the hills. 10:10am and just heard a loud clap of thunder. Last night brought all the towels etc in as we heard thunder in the distance but again no rain.

I was hoping to get a similar downpour like Amargeti at this pic, just after midday, but for 1 hour it was only thunder and light rain, accumulating to only 1,8 l/m2....but better than nothing. It cleaned a bit my PV panels on the roof (hopefully)

Glad you liked the photos Aphrodite. My favourite was pic #3. These moods are much more interesting for me than only blue skies.
Coming back to the topic: again I was on the edge of good rain, which happened only a couple of km's away. Over this weekend I had only 4 mm/m2 rain altogether
