Paphos man critical after road accident

A 19-year-old man from Paphos is in critical condition after the car he was driving veered off course just after midnight and crashed consecutively into two trees, police said on Sunday.
The accident occurred at around 12.40am in Emba.
According to the police, the 19-year-old, while driving on Georgios Grivas Digenis street, lost control of his car causing it veer off the road, enter into a field and crash consecutively into two trees.
The man was transferred to the Paphos general hospital with head injuries, but due to the severity of his condition, he was taken to the Nicosia general hospital. His condition is critical, police said.
