A Couple Of Butterfly Photos

There were a few of these on the wing earlier this month, it's the Cleopatra

The next couple are Long-tailed Blues
Lampides boeticus which is a very successful species being one of the few to reach the Azores in the Atlantic, some 1,400km from the mainland. It has also been observed on the slopes of Mt Everest & is considered a pest in Hawaii!

A couple more butterflies taken yesterday on the Coastal Boardwalk path. Firstly, a Clouded Yellow

Thank you Shane, I love your insect photos.
I had a 'Cleopatra' butterfly in my garden a few weeks ago, but I couldn’t get anywhere near to photograph her! How do you do it and get such good shits?
