I am looking to sell my car, which is in good condition. Are there any companies in the Paphos area will purchase cars for cash?

A&N car sales in Tremithousa do, but any car dealer will try and give you a price, you would get more selling privately of course, try the sale section on this forum, do add photos.

I don't know about dealers, but I have sold 2 on bazaraki, free to advertuse, and both went to Cypriots who paid cash. Near enough to what we were looking for and I suspect one was a dealer.

You will get a better price selling private, but if you are in a rush....

Thanks for the comments. It is not that I am in a rush to sell, it is just that I am not in Cyprus all the time and thought it might be easier to sell it for cash, rather than try and sell it privately. I realise there will be a price penalty. It is a Proton Savvy.

I'm not an expert but I am quite sure you will need to be in Cyprus to sell the car, you have to be there with your passport to complete your sale.

I had a car to sell last year, I visited the recommended garages and was offered less than a 1000 Euros by all of them, I sold it on Bazeraki, I got 2500 Euro and had so much interest I could have sold it for much more.

Now that is very interesting input and food for thought for all PL members. Thanks, Gary!

Garry is correct.

You will either need to be on Cyprus or use maybe your lawyer, as you will need to be there in person to sell a car here, I have sold on several cars, the buyer unless a trader will also need an Insurance cover note. Not as easy to do the deal as in the UK.

You would also need to see a "Notary" or go to the Citizens Advice centre to finalize the transaction.

I should maybe wait until you are out here, then use a selling website, there are several to use, I usually sell on forums like PL.

Good luck.
