As a supporter of Stockport County (remember them), it was good to see a couple of our old boys helping you out !!!

Lincoln almost managed to avoid the play-offs yesterday. Nerve racking!

Luton safely got promoted (with by far the best GD in L2). Though recently, they had me worried... Were they going to throw it all away and not even make the play-offs, like so many times before?
Good luck to Lincoln, Dom- but it's more likely to be Exeter or Coventry, I think.

My lot, Plymouth Argyle bottled it a bit at the end, and just missed the league 1 play-offs, but considering that we were rock bottom up to and including Christmas cannot be too disappointed for the first season after promotion, onward and upward, Green Army!

Ashton are a good team. Stockport back in the day was a derby. Good luck to both teams.

Of the teams I have watched and supported in the past, Rochdale survived in League one, but Oldham went down. Liverpool of course have got a European Champions League final to look forward to but have got to beat Brighton at the weekend to make sure of a Champions League place next season.
The team I watched as a boy, Southport, is languishing in the same league as Stockport County. Remember crowds of over 6000 at Haig Avenue when we used to play Stockport and both teams were in the old third division.

As a Stokie, I'm slightly amused and perhaps annoyed.
Arnautovic left Stoke for a 'more ambitious team'
Without his goals, we got relegated ... I wonder what would have happened to both teams if he had stayed put!

Dale always a tough place to go and get a result John. And manager is a Bolton lad. Southport sacked SKD last month.
