Hi

Does anyone know whether Diclophenac is still available to buy over the counter in pharmacies without prescription?

Thanks

I think that Diclophenac in low strength. 50mg can be bought over the counter. In pills or suppositaries. The latter are very effective, especially for people who find taking oral inflammatories upset their digestive system. Stronger dose meds presumeably will need a prescription.

Many thanks - 100mg is what they are looking for.

Long term use of Diclofenac is potentially dangerous - increasing the risk of strokes and heart attacks. Doctors advise only use the drug for 7 days at a time. Also see http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/artic ... lions.html
