Mag box are changing their appearance with a new model , the mag324 .

I do not know if there are improvements under the hood .

I am still happy to continue using my mag250 .

Just a warning note, I bought the then latest MAG unit a few months ago. it would not load my usual software, until the service providers update their service for this unit I would advise sticking with your old MAG's.
