Why does the Tremithousa Bin look like its always on fire? :D

I reckon Memory Man mentioned this very thing in 19 Oatcake.

I think it is a light inside the camera reflecting on the outer glass cover

Over the past month or so, Jim's Tremithousa webcam seems to have been pointing a bit lower than originally. In other words, less sky, and more front hedge.

Any chance of re-orienting your cam slightly, Jim? Afterwards, if the apparent 'fire' by the bin then moves further up the street, it will prove Trev's theory to be correct!

AL :D

The IP camera has in fact not moved, it cant as it is bolted to the wall of my home, the fire in the bin just a power light nothing sinister, I thought this was well known? It only shows in a low light situation, the power light is a reflection on the inside of the housing on the protection glass. this IP camera has in fact been running for at least ten years long before HD cameras of this type.

It has been amazingly reliable.

As you can see in daylight the fire has gone out! ;o)
