They obviously haven't seen the dark clouds that are rolling in from Polis. Whether they produce rain or not is another matter, but they certainly have the capacity.

There are just clouds forecast today for Polemi on www.windy.com with around 1mm of rain tomorrow (Saturday)

We have had some early morning rain here (in the hills above Avdimou) since there are a few puddles, not a lot but enough to save me watering!

It looks like rain here, ie black clouds. But not a drop yet. As you will see they have had some rain at Avdimou but that is in the Limassol area, not in the West of the island .

It's less than 26km from Paphos as the crow flies though, and we do tend to get most of our weather coming in from the West, usually if it rains in Paphos area we get it a little later.
Looking very overcast towards your side just now, feels like more rain coming, but you never know in Cyprus!

According to weatherunderground, Paphos, the weather today will be mainly overcast and there is a 50% chance of showers later. Also showers forecast for tomorrow, but fine again by Sunday!
Those who live near Tala will probably have noticed that Visteria mini market are re roofing the street area of the store outside. Having seen the dark clouds apptoaching the men were busy trying to get the whole area covered with the new roof in case it does rain!
