Tree removal assistance please

I need information from the good people on this site. Tree roots in my garden are pushing up the gravel and breaking the concrete stand on which my central heating gas container stands. I need someone to take a look and possibly remove the tree before it does more damage. I recall seeing a recommendation on here for such a person/s but a search has revealed nothing. I will require the tree taking away after felling etc. Please can anyone help me regarding this? thank you.

Rita, I would try to find somebody to dig a little trench down where the roots possibly are, then cut them there off. A more drastic method is, depending the size of the tree which you don't want anymore: a couple of COPPER nails to hammer down the trunk and wait....

Hi Rita,
As I posted in recommended contractors last October, I have no hesitation in recommending Dig It Tree Services
http://digittreeservices.com/palm-trimming-and-care/
I needed two large date palms removed and having tried local to Limassol to find a contractor without success, gave Dig It Tree Services a call and I am pleased I did.
John and Dave were very professional, fast, tidy and inexpensive.

Hello Rita. I've used "Dig It" for over 6 years now and highly recommend their work. Last year they removed over 15 washingtonia trees from my garden some over 15mts. high, cleared the debris and left it neat/clean. John is based in Peyia, so local. Now has a crew of about 5-6 guys headed by Dave. All excellent workers and reliable. Recently had them in to top overgrown Oleanders which they shredded and took away.
