Do you mean the supermarket in Coral Bay or is there another Philippos?

If it brings the plight of endangered species into more focus with people who would not think twice about such things with the possibility that they might get involved financially or otherwise then what is the problem. I might be in the minority here but every cloud might have a silver lining. Rather that than just posturing.

What details? A previous cub was taken to Phillipos supermarket to enable staff and customers to have their photos taken with it, like this episode it was reported in the press or on Fb!

How long ago/ who took it?

Not sure about Philippos's but we were at Paphos Zoo in the summer and my daughter had her photo taken with the tiger cub.
At the end of the parrot show you could pay 20 euros to pat the tiger whilst it was having a bottle of milk. Whilst it was obviously a contrived situation, the staff highlighted the fact that the tiger was on the critically endangered list and the additional funds would go towards their breeding programme (I took them at face value on that).
At the end of day, I didn't believe that the animal was being exploited or suffered any distress from the experience and we were helping to sustain their ongoing existence. I guess it comes down to how we perceive animal exploitation, for instance, having a border collie, I don't like to see photos of dogs dressed up in silly clothes, but some find that sort of thing amusing........each to their own.

Perhaps if you said something along the lines of "I was trying to find something on what you posted on google without luck" as well as just asking for the date you would get a less frosty response?

It was a simple question no more no less, why the need to get worked up about it?

It was quite terse. Easy to misinterpret.
