Changing Amazon Country

In relation to Dom's post about a book on Amazon.uk not being available on Amazon.com evidently if you have a VPN you can easily change your account to another country but you have to be brave if you don't have an address in that country! And, of course, it only works for downloads but I don't think there's a problem having goods delivered to a different address.

If you Google you'll find several topics on the subject but it's explained on this VPN page https://help.my-private-network.co.uk/s ... ice-versa-

I'm only the messenger & only tryng to be helful so research it yourselves but if you try it & have problems don't blame me! :)

I doubt using a VPN would work for me because the books go straight to the Kindle. But for me at least it is no problem buying Kindle books from the USA... They just download in seconds..

I don't get the problem people are having anyway. Is it specific to kindles? I view ebooks on my android tablet running the Kindle software. I haven't had a problem. Are physical kindles more fussy than the app?

You can download direct to a Kindle from the Amazon book store. You can also side load to a Kindle from your laptop..

When I was in Cyprus, I used to have a UK and a .com account specifically for downloading free kindle books from Amazon.

But later on I found I could get them from other sources and still do, especially for my Reachers 😀
