Kantouni Tavern, Mandria

Opened a couple of months ago, this was our first visit to the new taverna in Mandria and we were very impressed. Most of their menu is traditional Greek food, we ordered moussaka and kleftico, both excellent. I was told before it opened that all the food would be cooked by the owner and his mother.
The lady working front of house was very pleasant and efficient, although busy as they had a number of customers and two large tables were also reserved. If visiting at weekends it might be advisable to book. Tel 96 868986
The taverna is situated further down the side street from the fish and chip shop on the same side as the hairdressers.
