A man found hunting in a game reserve area without a permit was fined €2,077 on Wednesday.The man, a 43-year-old resident of Latsia, was found with a shot gun by members of the game fund near the Lefkara dam, in an area where hunting is prohibited....

You apply for and obtain a hunting licence, take it down to the local gun shop, and buy the one you like.
The process is quick and easy.

Why are you surprised I asked? you equated Cyprus being the same as the USA, a ridiculous statement to make.... you apply for a Shotgun licence then after all the Police checks etc, which is neither quick or easy... if you get your licence then you can purchase a shotgun...the clue is Shotgun not hand gun, semi/auto rifle... why do you keep making sensational posts is it your trying to get a reaction all the time?
