I hope our kite flying will be more successful than last year.
Nice day for it.

But you have to hope that the wind picks up, as at the moment not even 80 m above ground at the wind farm there is no any move to see...
Not only in Akamas it is green now...

Just went into the bakery for some bread, and was lucky not to get trampled to death

waiting for some wind to dry faster..

Yes they were, I remember my American nephew was into them and he was always sure I wanted to listen to them whenever I went over - and no, I didn't!

Just got back from the lighthouse beach.
Excellent kite flying weather.
Lots of very high kites this year. One so high it was just a dot in the sky.
Brilliant family day out, lots of fun.

Definitely one of my VERY FAVOURITE memories of Cyprus in 2006. The year after we moved there. Balmy weather, kites everywhere flying high. Food fit for a King . . . . . . .And a wee drop of wine on the side. Unfortunately, coz I is a real HEATHEN, I remember most definitely eating barbecued pork that afternoon. (Big chunks of it).
