Help please. My central heating system appears to have failed this evening despite showing it is on. The fuel gauge (Gas) indicates there is practically 60% fuel in the tank. Can anyone assist me please with the name, address, telephone number etc of a reliable company or person who deals with this type of work? The people who installed the system have left Cyprus a few years ago. Thank you.

Thank you. The programmer appears to be working apart from the clock being approx 2 mins slow. Heating system working o.k up to Sunday night only discovered system not working last evening (Monday) when I switched on manually as I usually do. Lights on programmer working o.k just no heat coming through.

Is your hot water supply heated by the same system, do you have hot water?

You could try Absolute Heating and Cooling. They are situated on the Polis Rd next to Monte Lisa. They deal with gas central heating. You probably need an experienced gas cental heating fitter to check your system and find what is wrong. Have you had it seriviced recently?
They usually recommend that you have an annual service including clean for a central heating system.
I have my boiler checked and cleaned every year before the start of the winter.

Thank you to those people who kindly replied to my plea for assistance. My own maintenance man looked at the system and suggested the water pressure had dropped so no heating mechanism was functioning he suggested a central heating maintenance gentleman with a business in Kissonega (short distance from me) who came out and fixed the problem. It was indeed the water pressure at fault which he duly rectified and voila all is working again.

Lloyd: I sent you a private message on Sunday (I think) re Joe the pie lady but maybe you have not looked in the cooking section again as yet. I would be grateful if you could let me have contact details and delivery to Paphos times please because her pies look scrumptious - my appetite has returned at long last.

WHL: no my hot water is not connected to the heating system = dont really need it if my hot water is no hot enough in the winter I switch the immersion heater on for an hour.

Once more than you all.
