Is this on the track, from Arodes, that follows the Avakas Gorge, passes very close about mid way along the gorge at its steepest and narrowest point, then heads north west towards Lara? At this point the gorge is far below to the left and a small goat farm is on your right?

Have to agree with Steve, as I've often walked (and driven down this track in a normal rented 2WD saloon car, ahem)!

What's about Pikni forest, road Peyia to Kathikas.? or hundreds of similar places where goats and sheep finding shade under a tree
