At the Blue Lagoon, there is a second beach to the right of the main one, from the shore. Most of the sand in that was washed away in storms last year. It was a real shame as the sand provided a handy walkway to deeper waters.

It's a common problem that a lot of countries face ............... how much money do you pour into coastal defences trying to stop Mother Nature? In the UK several areas have now been abandoned to let MN take its natural course!
