Police have raided a pirate streaming TV service in Poland and arrested three men aged 30, 42 and 57. Authorities say that the provider initially offered accounts for free, then shifted customers onto subscription packages which generated the operators around 840,000 euros. A dozen computers, nine servers, decoders, and more than 60 storage devices were seized.

I wondered how the Bulgarians can pick up Sky transmission to re-broadcast, but I can understand people in Poland being able to.
Sky is still watchable in a lot of Spain and Portugal.

In the IPTV group on Facebook there are still plenty of people offering the IPTV service with free trials.

It's not the host service providers at fault here. It's the peeps who set up sites on those hosts. In most cases, the EU host wants all your details, proof of address and so on. So if you do anything iffy on their host, they'll simply point the investigating authorities straight back to the perpetrator for a knock on the door, leaving themselves squeaky clean...
