He is an ignorant bully who doesn't take kindly to criticism or advice contrary to his own primitive opinion. The main problem is that with his policies he thinks he is representing the wishes of those people that voted for him and in this he is probably right......which says a lot about the intellect of those voters. It is these voters that deserve to be classed as sh***y but they are too stupid to realise this.

As much as I find Trump cringeworthy I think the shitstorm about the "shithole countries" is a bit over the top. After all, this wasn´t meant for the ears of the public and I´m sure most of us Westerners would agree that there are countries less desirable to live in than others and would say so if asked. If I´d have to choose before being born whether I´d like to be born to say Scandinavian or to Afghan parents I knew what I´d opt for. It doesn´t necessarily constitute debasing e. g. Afghans, nor does it constitute praising Scandinavians.

That's a pointless argument because you don't get to choose.

The White House physician pronounced Donald Trump to be in “excellent health” after Trump had his first medical exam as US president on Friday, capping off a week in which his mental fitness for the job has come under intense scrutiny.

Trump spent about three hours with military doctors at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, an exam which White House doctor Ronny Jackson said went “exceptionally well”.

The point was to illustrate my statement that most would agree that some countries are more desirable than others. Such statement doesn´t equate a statement at the inhabitants of a country.

But they do really. Without people, a country would just be a country. It is the presence of people that elevate a country to shithole status. You won't hear Trump laying into Antarctica.

I don´t think so. I´m sure there are fine people (amongst others) even in countires I´d regard as hellholes I´d rather want to avoid.There are many reasons why a country may be undesirable for which you can´t blame the residents.

Well that is the irony, really. A lot of these "shitholes" became shitholes thanks to the West. But make no mistake, Trump isn't referring to the country, he is referring to the people. The country isn't trying to come to America. The people are.

This is nothing new.
A shithole is not a very nice place to work, live in , visit or even go for a drink.

I would have thought that one of the following countries might have also achieved shi****e status, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Palau and Togo. Ah ......but they are countries that voted against General Assembly resolution condemning the relocation of the US embassy to Jerusalem, so they would not fall into that category.
