Can anyone recommend a holiday apartment for a young couple within walking distance to the Harbour area.

When we were building out here, we often stayed in the Niki Court Apartments. Basic, cheap and the owner very friendly. Located in a small cul-de-sac just behind the "Handkerchief Tree" at the King Solomon's Tomb. I see they've been extended (and presumably renovated) since we stayed.

We stayed at the Anemi Apartments several times during our visits to Cyprus.
They're basic but were always clean and situated just off the top of Bar Street (not too far from The Curry House) in a quiet street.
Not far from the Alexander the Great hotel but back off the seafront.

Paphinia Sea View Apts are almost on the harbour, we used to have them on guaranteed contract when I worked for First Choice Hols and I always had my eye on them for last minute visits.

Only problem with Kay's recommendation for 'Niki Court Apartments' is that it seems to lack a swimming pool, a feature that a young couple might hanker after...

Aquila's 'Limnaria' suggestion ticks all the boxes (nice pool and free Wi-Fi / UK TV in some rooms), but seem to be 2 Bed minimum. Maybe on the expensive side for a couple in one bedroom? And a good 20 minutes walk down to the harbour...

Agree with Jules on the 'Anemi Hotel Apartments'. I stayed next door at the 'Theseas' many times, and the Anemi looked really nice, with a large pool and plenty of sunbeds. It's in a really quiet area, but great access. 10 minutes walk down to the harbour, 5 minute stroll to the madness of Bar Street! Plenty of eat-ins and takeaways locally, if you don't fancy cooking in your room that night!

As far as LOCATION LOCATION goes, Jules' recommendation for 'Paphinia Sea View Apts' certainly ticks the box! But again, sadly, no swimming pool... Which means the nearby municipal sea front swimming area in salt water, not everyone's choice.

Can I suggest a couple of more possible locations, both a short flat walk to the harbour, and both in quiet locations with nice pools? They are are in the same Lidas Street where Papantonious is located in Kato Paphos, just one street back from the the main Poseidonos coast road up from the harbour:

I too would recommend Paphinia Seaview Apartments despite the absence of a swimming pool. The views are stunning and the quality and space is far superior to either Basilica or Daphne...sorry Al.
It's my property of choice at the moment and when I visit with one of my friends or my son they much prefer the Municipal Beach with it's changing rooms and showers to a pool. Love swimming in the sea.
