I need to renew the certificate. This will take about half an hour, so apologies for the annoying message in the meantime.

All sorted!
The new security certificate will last 3 years, which is the maximum length. At which point expect to see a similar post unless I can work out how to get a notification BEFORE the certificate runs out.

Like me! I logged on at 0640 am this morning and got that message. I just clicked on the over-ride option and dropped into the forum as per usual - no problem.
Cheers Dominic.
Amos.

Allesley uses "log in"
exodus uses "log/ged on"
Is there a difference between log in and log on?

No, but does it matter, the early licensing problem has been sorted.

No there isn't. That article is a lot of guff I'm afraid.
This is the dictionary definition:
logon
ˈlɒɡɒn/Submit
noun
another term for login.
And it wasn't a licensing issue. It was the SSL security certificate.
But as Jim says, who really cares?

I wouldn't have asked the question otherwise.
Thanks for your informative answer Dominic.

It's one of those potato / potarto things. Or Lemba / Lempa even.
