Since the beginning of December, rainfall in has reached only four per cent of what is normal, it was announced on Tuesday.From the beginning of the month to date, rainfall reached 4.7cm compared to the average norm for this time of the year of 105.6cm, the met service said....

I'm daring to copy what I wrote on the Eastern Forum (sorry, Dom):
I agree. I've measured 3.3 mm to date at Mosfiloti, compared to a norm of 124 mm for the month. This is catastrophic. I still irrigate to make up for the shortfall. The Year to date from 1 October is 109.4 mm, just about 50% of what I would expect.
My forecast up to Sunday night is not over hopeful, perhaps a small shower at the weekend.

I measured 1.5 mm at my place near Minthis golf so far for December, while last December it was 104 mm
( and I am talking about mm=liter, not cm mentioned by mistake in the above article from CMail)
